Cookie Policy — Aveliq

Aveliq uses cookies and browser local storage to make the app work properly and remember your preferences. This page explains exactly what we store and why.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. Aveliq primarily uses localStorage — a similar browser-based storage mechanism — rather than traditional cookies, because it allows your study data to persist between visits without sending information to a server automatically.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some third-party services Aveliq uses may set their own cookies:

Firebase (Google) — sets authentication cookies when you sign in with Google. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Google Fonts — may log your IP address when fonts are loaded. Governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics services like Google Analytics.

4. How to Control or Delete Cookies

You can clear all Aveliq localStorage data by:

Opening your browser settings → Privacy/Storage → Clear site data for studypal.com.ng
On Chrome Android: Settings → Site Settings → studypal.com.ng → Clear & reset

Note: clearing local data will reset your streaks, saved notes, and achievements that have not been synced to your account.
